Developed from the idea of designing a practical and manoeuvrable seating solution that could be easily moved with just one hand, while also having compact dimensions to allow for multiple elements of the same line to be grouped together in a contiguous space. Marconato & Zappa created the idea of developing the Smile family of living room poufs, characterised by an informal yet refined design.

The fixed or swivel frame, made entirely of ash wood and available in all finishes from the collection, rises to form a handle shaped like a smile – hence the name of these poufs – which serves as a grip for easy movement, as well as a backrest.

The seat is made from a combination of poplar plywood and elastic bands to ensure comfort, and can be upholstered choosing among all fabrics from the collection for a unique and customised look.
