We dealt mainly with Trina, who was very helpful and attentive without in any way being pushy. We never felt pressurised to buy but got all the help that we needed. I would highly recommend Vale Furnishers for all your furnishing needs. My only negative comment is that they don't take credit cards, only debit cards.

The sales staff (Harvey) were very helpful and friendly. They have an extensive display of quality furniture available, located over 4 floors. Dedicated parking is available at the side of the building off Ash Hill Rd.

George Windsor 18/02/2025 My wife & I wanted a mattress topper to improve the comfort our high quality King size mattress we bought about 7 years ago. We went to Vale Furnishers as they have a range of them in stock we could test (without sleep!) in their large and spacious store. Laying down on them in turn under guildance from their knowledgable and helpful salesman Harvey Bruce and discussing the construction of the three or four we tried we found the best for us. Trying them all at least twice to be doubly sure it was clear to my wife and I the best was the Vispring Heaven 7cm luxury topper and decided to buy. These are made to order so a deposit was made and about 5 weeks later Vale Furnishers arranged with us a suitable delivery date and time window. That was all completed without any issues and we paid the balance upon their own staff's delivery who unboxed and installed on our bed. This was easy as it simply lays on the surface without any straps or fixings.
One thing we did do when we visited the store that ordering day was to buy in readiness a Mattressguard Grand Quilted mattress protector with a deep elasticated valance. This keeps the topper in place and protects it against any spill accidents.
For some years we have used a dual zoned double electric blanket for winter bliss and that sits on top of the protector and covered by an elasticated fitted sheet. We now have a higher bed thanks to the topper which we like and, more importantly, we have a VERY comfortable bed that is pure joy to sleep in! In fact we both get a better nights deeper, less disturbed, sleep! Thank you Vale Furnishers and thank you Harvey for a great product and great buying experience.

Trina gave us plenty of time to make our choices, including a North/South split for the bed to allow for 4 full-size drawers, and different mattresses for each side. We had bought 4 “Stressless” leather chairs and footstools from Vale some years ago and wanted one more of each for our conservatory. Found the desired size and colour and order placed. Delivery arranged from stock and agreed potential removal of an existing chair if we could not sell in the intervening period. Delivery arrived spot on time with no problems. All unpacked and placed in position. Telephone contact throughout was great, keeping us informed before we needed to think about enquiring. David Paine 10/01/2025 We have always liked Vale Furnishers and make them our first choice when looking for new furniture.
We recently bought a Stressless recliner in a particular colour as my personal chair, that Vale obtained for us from the supplier. The process kept to good time as promised.
We loved it so much that we decided to get two more that were on special offer from stock in a different colour to replace an old sofa. Delivery from stock was amazingly quick!
In both cases Vale took away our old chairs and sofa for a modest fee. (Where old furniture is in good order, Vale donate it to the Philis Tuckwell Hospice.)

We spent hours with you with visits covering soft furnishing, carpet and hard flooring. Some six months after it was completed we are still delighted and in the meantime have had many complimentary remarks.

My sofas were actually due to arrive in January 2025, but I received an email and telephone call saying they have arrived in their warehouse in December 2024. I was therefore able to have my sofas before Christmas for which I was delighted. The service I received from the delivery schedule lady was brilliant and she managed to get my delivery on my day off. The 2 delivery men that arrived with the sofa were very thorough and extremely pleasant and helpful. Would buy again from Vale Furnishers.
